IMS provides various training programmes for cat coaching in India.

Mode 1: Classroom

IMS offers two classroom variants

For those who need extra support in basics

For those who need less support in basics

Mode 2: Correspondence

The correspondence programme is suitable for you if:

• You are located far from an IMS centre
• You do not have time to attend classes due to other commitments
• You are extremely self-disciplined and self-motivated

The ENHANCED Correspondence Program

he Enhanced Correspondence program is suitable for students who for reasons mentioned above cannot make it convenient to attend regular classroom sessions but would still want to attend tests in a simulated atmosphere. In addition to the regular correspondence features comprising the basic reference material, section tests and comprehensive tests, this program includes all the SimCATs that help the students to measure progress, understand their comparative national standing under conditions akin to the day of the actual test. To ensure that our correspondence students do not miss the opportunity of attending the SimCATs all these important tests are conducted on Sundays. Moreover as an IMS student you will receive the schedule for all the SimCATs 30 days in advance. In the enrollment form, remember to indicate your choice of the IMS Learning Centre for taking the SimCATs.

Programme is divided into following components

Comprehensive Classroom Training
The classes are designed in two different modes (CATapult and Classic) to suit the needs of different types of students. Both the modes help the student build the necessary foundation and application skills required to ace the CAT and other management entrance tests. Make sure you get into the right program by taking the IMS diagnostic test.

CAT Intensive Workshops
This is a set of 15 rigorous workshops, created after extensive research on the last previous CAT papers, to help you gain the ability and confidence to tackle actual CAT questions during the final stage of your preparation.

Simulated Testing
The IMS SimCATs are designed after a thorough analysis of the CAT papers over the years and help in simulating the test environment and pressure that you will face on the day of the CAT. They also provide a detailed performance evaluation report & feedback to help you evaluate, map and refine your performance against your peers across the country.

Take-home Tests: AceCATs
To provide you with sufficient practice, IMS provides 15 tests (in addition to the SimCATs) so that you can hone your test-taking skills.

Additional Material for other Tests: ADMAT
The CAT training programme takes care of almost all the skills needed to ace other management tests. However, to tackle additional areas, IMS conducts additional sessions. We also provide comprehensive tests that simulate all the top management entrance tests.

Maxprep GD-PI
This is a comprehensive teaching and preparatory course, designed by experts to help you deliver a sterling performance at the GD/PI. This module provides the necessary training & orientation to build basic skills, as well as practice sessions to put the learning into action.

Exhaustive Study Material
You will be provided with the Basic Reference Material (BRM): exhaustive study material with around 2000 pages on all the areas tested in the CAT and other top management entrance tests - Concept Books to explain fundamentals and Workbooks to strengthen those fundamentals.
