1 attemted around 21 questions 0n 29th november 1st slot . equally .expect atleast 5 questions from each slot to get right what could be my percentile

i guess %iles wud be on slot basis.....

as it wil not be fair to calculate %ile on overall basis, bcoz no 2 ques in maths can be of same level

in my view calculating 1 + 2 is always easier than calculating 2+3.

bt watever may b the case, now aftr disastrous start of online cat, i think now the game is on between hard work and luk. 

Is dat atleast 40 quest were to be attempted??

i gave my exam on 29th 1st slot,,i dont remember but i attempted abt 30-32 questions??

and slot based percentiles??huh forget it!!

i had attempted cat on 29th, mine was morning shift but test started from 1 p.m.. maths and english was comparatively easy but di was very calculative.

Yeah, the question was in sections and it was 20-20-20 only.The Question was moderate compared to gone years.Try to cover up jumbled paragraphs,sentence corrections,Permutations and combinations,HCF LCM,finding angles and area in a circumscribed triangle,time and distance.Tabular charts,Line diagrams...

my exam was on 3rd dec at tit college,bhopal.i was booked for the 3:30 pm slot.i reached the centre at 1:15 pm.after 15 min,announcements were made regarding the room no. in which we would be sitting.i had heard from my friend that 2 or 3 labs are not working,and the students of that lab would be called later.i was praying that,the lab which was effected doesn't belong to me...

firstly iil-06 was called,then 07 and then 09 was called.this would mean i thought that lab 08 isn't working.mine was 10,so i was in a dilemma what would happen to me...and gosh they skipped 10 too,ce and cq were called inside.we waited for any miracle to happen,and phew students of lab 10 were called too.when i went inside i was told to show my admit card and id proof.i carried my driving license along with me,and when i showed them that they said it doesn't have a sign at the back....i was shocked.they asked if i have any other id proof and i said no.i was asked a few questions and then i was allowed to go.inside i along with 50 around students waited for our security check.after an hour or so,i was letted in.they took my photograph and told me that my computer no. was 08.i sat there.on the screen it showed the photo they had clicked and a login name and password.after half an hour,a prometric staff came and typed something.the screen now showed my name along with 2 options,start tutorial and start test.they told us we can start our tutorials if we want.by mistake,i clicked on start test and a blank screen appeared in front of me and suddenly it said "you've run out of time"....what the heck,i thought.....i called a staff and she told me "it's over,you can go now" .......i started arguing and she called a senior staff and he came and did something on the com.it now showed start test/start tutorial again....i very cautiously clicked on start tutorial...a junior staff told me if you click on end tutorial and your test ends,then it will not be our responsibilty....so i let that tutorial screw my mind till 15 full minutes....

a blank screen came,and my first ever cat exam was right in front of me....

as known before,it had 3 sections each with 20 questions...i attempted qa,di and va in that particular order...i find di section a bit tough,so i attempted 6 questions in it.in total i did 25 questions.... 

Can any one tell me the note pad they give for rough work?

Was that a set of papers or a single paper?

Did you all get pencils and eraser?

I gave the test on sunday evening slot and attempted around 45 questions, QA-13 DI-17 VA-15. How are my chances if my accuracy goes to about 80%?

I hoped for a better quant but it might be that others also showed up the same performance level. I personally found CAT easier this time than last two times 2006 and 2008.

I had a very good experience, the paper was quiet easy.

I faced no problems during the test, it went on perfectly
